JAMES MANN - FOUNDER OF ARGENTUM CAPITAL PARTNERS

Argentum Capital Partners was founded by James Mann.

Passionate about business, in 1991 James stared his early management training at The John Lews Partnership before moving into the banking sector.

After a period of 5 years, he then moved into media and held a senior regional position at Capital Radio before it became Global Media & Entertainment Ltd.

During his time here he was head-hunted to the role of Strategic Analyst at the Daily Telegraph before he went onto to perform other senior positions within Telegraph Media Group.

During his time at The Telegraph Media Group, one of the positions held by James was Head of Sport. By spending time with sporting organisations, teams and players it gave him a fascinating insight into the mindset of the coaching of teams and individuals and the running of governing bodies. Studying this became a lifetime passion that he continues to this day.

James then made his move back into radio by becoming a director of the Canadain based Canwest Global Communications Corporation and was part of the senior management team that won and launched the UK's last regional radio station before it was sold to Celador.

Using his experience and knowledge gained across this spectrum of blue-chip companies James then started Argentum Capital Partners, which is a privately held company, that specialises in offering professional business support services and advice.

In his spare time, he became a recognised L2 coach with British Triathlon and an Endurance Coach with UK Athletics.

He coaches triathletes and endurance runners at his local triathlon and athletics club.
